The Auxiliary donated $10,000 to the Squamish Hospital Foundation to help fund the purchase of a Cellavision blood cell analyzer machine for the Squamish General Hospital laboratory. |

Marie Worth presents Howe Sound Secondary Student Angelina Acosta the 2022 Bursary from the Squamish Auxiliary Society 
The Auxiliary donated $1,380 towards the purchase of a milk defroster, and warmer, and $450 towards a freezer so that newborn babies born at our hospital can have access to human donor breast milk when needed. |

The Auxiliary received $5,500 from theSquamish Community Foundation that was used towards the purchase of a BiliSoft LED phototherapy System. Total cost / amount donated was $8,133. This machine will be used to treat newborn babies delivered at our hospital for newborn jaundice.

Auxiliary just purchased a "Little Family QCPR" kit, priced at $868, for use in training SGH staff CPR.
Auxiliary has donated $3,597 towards the construction of a soundproof wall between the new staff room and patient room 108. Auxiliary has donated $30,278 towards the purchase and installation of two ceiling patient lifts in patient rooms 101 and 102.

Grant Awarded! WOW! BIG THANK YOU to Canadian Medical Association (CMA), CMA Foundation, and their affinity collaboration (CMA, Scotiabank and MD) for a one time grant of $23,625.00 to help fund a sidewalk upgrade and ramp access to new entry door for our SGH chemotherapy patients!! Together we CAN make a difference!!
